Irancy is to red what Chitry is to white: a beautiful natural amphitheatre of vines that produces excellent, under-the-radar Burgundy. The vineyard of Irancy is planted exclusively to red grapes and is locally known as the best terroir for Pinot Noir. Each year, Olivier visits a friend in Irancy who farms with the same natural vision but sells off his production to négoce. Each year they get together for a tasting and Olivier selects the best lots of Pinot Noir for élevage in Morin's cellar in Chitry.
