Appellation

Montagnieu

Variety

100% Mondeuse

This varietal Mondeuse hails from hillside vineyards in the heart of Bugey, nestled between the Jura, Savoie, and Rhône regions. This monovarietal wine is deep and dark fruited, marked by prominent acidity and a lingering finish. The wine drinks beautifully in its youth but promises to develop in complexity over time. All wines produced at Bonnard are crafted in coherence with nature, both in the vineyard and the cellar. Only minimal sulfur is added.
