Viña Franca

A New Collaboration with Spanish Wines

Vina+Franca

At Paris Wine Company, we love to find exceptional young producers and help introduce them to great distributors around the world. When I travel outside of France, I make it a point to taste wines from other countries, and on a trip to London a few years ago, I was especially enamored by some amazing Spanish wines from a set of dynamic young producers. These wines were all selected by Mayu Miller, a Japanese sommelier and wine exporter living in Spain since 2001.

After a few trips between Paris and Barcelona, we realized that our visions about wine and working to support producers were clearly aligned. Mayu has spent the last few decades developing strong relationships with exceptional young producers in Spain, and we are happy to announce a collaboration together under the name Viña Franca.

We are launching with four excellent producers. Like the French selections for Paris Wine Company, each of the Viña Franca producers makes unique terroir driven wines, produced with an ecological mindset and minimal intervention in the cellar. These are compelling wines that make me want to dig deeper into Spain, and I hope that you’ll join us on this new journey.
