Notes from Bernard Bohn on the personality of this wine: "I am a Pinot Noir vinified unfiltered without added sulfites. I was born from a selection of two old vines parcels facing south: one from a unique Alsace schist terroir and the other from volcanic sandstone terroir. I was vinified with whole clusters, I express blueberries and black cherry tones sustained by cinnamon and pepper notes. In mouth, my balance delights the palate through finesse and freshness." The wines labeled "Par Nathur" are vinified and bottled entirely without SO2. Nathur is an amalgam of nature (as in vin nature) and Arthur (Bernard's son, who has pushed for sans soufre vinification.)
