Château de Calavon

Founded in 1903

Located in the center of the Pays d’Aix, Château de Calavon is without a doubt the oldest winery in the village of Lambesc, which has been famous for its wines since the Middle Ages, when it was ruled by the Prince d’Orange. Today, over 50 hectares of vines are organically farmed and vinified by the Audibert family, who have been the owners and winemakers at the Château de Calavon for five generations.

The original vineyard layout has remained unchanged since the 18th century. Composed of a 50-hectare large block of vines planted on the typical clay-limestone soils, the property is surrounded by forests on all sides and is influenced by the powerful and famous Mistral winds.
