Variety

60% Cabernet Franc
20% Gamay
20% Grolleau

Les Pentes is blend of three classic Loire Valley red grapes: Cabernet Franc, Gamay, and Grolleau. Cabernet Franc provides the backbone and structure for the wine, Gamay adds fruitiness, and Grolleau, the energy and freshness. The Grolleau is especially typical of the area around Azay-le-Rideau. This easy-drinking, food-friendly red wine is inspired by the fillettes of wine sold by the liter in cafés and bistrots throughout the Loire Valley and in Paris, and embodies the same spirit of affordable, enjoyable, and affable companionship to any meal.
