Parellada
Succés Vinícola is amongst the first producers to make a still Parellada, and their cuvée is arguably a benchmark for the grape. El Pedregal is the single-vineyard wine from their favorite old-vine parcel. Albert and Mariona write: We have named this wine El Pedregal because it is the name of the vineyard where the grapes we make this wine with come from. This vineyard was planted in 1967 in Cabra del Camp at 600 meters above sea level. The land is composed of river cobblestones, which makes the wine very mineral. Also, the altitude of this property helps these vines to maintain acidity.
