Terra Alta Vernatxa
Celler Frisach
Type
White Wine
Appellation
Terra Alta
Variety
Garnacha Blanca
Franscesc writes: "With this wine, we wanted to revive an ancient way of Terra Alta winemaking: los vinos brisants. Once the grapes are harvested (manually and very carefully), they are introduced for joint fermentation with the skins in order to extract the purest essence of the variety. Once fermentation is complete, the wine is transferred into 500-liter oak barrels for six months of aging. There, the wine is tamed and polished gently. This wine has not been filtered, clarified, or stabilized. It is Garnacha in its purest form."
