Champagne Vadin-Plateau

Vadin-Plateau was founded in 1785 amongst the charming terroirs of five neighboring villages: Ay, Damery, Champillon, Hautvillers, and of course, the home of the winery, Cumières. Since 2012, the 7-hectare estate has been committed to organic viticulture and has abstained from using herbicides for over two decades.

The wines produced at this domaine are not only typical of the region, but also highly personal, as each cuvée possesses a unique identity of its own. The Renaissance, a 100% Pinot Meunier, is a true embodiment of the emblematic grape of Cumières. Along with the non-vintage cuvées, Renaissance and Intuition, Vadin-Plateau also produces an impressive selection of single-vintage, single-vineyard wines that reflect the distinct terroirs of the estate. These vintage-dated and dosage-free cuvées from Cumières and Hautvillers were first released in 2018.

The Champagnes crafted at Vadin-Plateau are nothing short of dynamic, precise, and harmonious. Starting in 2022, Muriel and Aurélie are proud to continue their family’s tradition, which represents an exciting evolution for both the estate and the village of Cumières, as well as showcases the true potential of the region.
